View The Full Version : cable ford 3-pin
Hello all,
anyone have any idea how I could make a wiring harness for the x-connect the autocom to the taken diagnosis ecu diagnosis abs of the old ford?
I do not find in the market a suitable cable.
I attach the downloaded photo of the sockets that I would need to give a better idea.
I apologize and precise.
the tool is called cds tcp, you can see it in the background in the attached photo, while on the first floor there is the entry cable plug into the obd (the instrument of course)
I also add the image of a screenshot that makes a better idea of the thorns diagnosis ford to which I would like to connect
have you tried to do a search on the******?
I have written to almost all the dealers of the tool, but the adapter cable x ford 3 pin one has it.
from ebay there is one but it has a plug that is a completely different side of the tool, working with
the problem is to understand which pin of the instrument to bring the pin of the diagnosis connector and know if you need to put resistors in the middle.
I had to get the hands the cable to the ford in question of the motorscan (5000equalchecosa) and on the socket that connects to the instrument, there is a tab with a transistor and resistors... I made a diagram just to have it but it is completely unnecessary given that I don't even know which pin recall the protocol that ford should work on my tcp/cds
the only thing "good" is that I know that the pin of the diagnostic socket ABS are in series with the pin engine diagnosis, then working only three pins in addition to the fourth power to be taken directly from the positive pole of the battery.
reading engine diagnostics you can do with the led code (but not the cancellations of these errors, while the errors abs only with tool.
someone believed to be able to advise me on how to make the connection?
can I post both the schema for the internal card to the socket of the cable motorscan is the procedure for diagnosis with the led if you feel useful.
